The RWA® Pro program is designed to honor that first major accomplishment of a member's romance-writing career: a completed romance manuscript and submission to a publisher or agent. The RWA® Pro program is available to any general or associate RWA member who is unpublished and can prove she/he has a completed romance manuscript of not less than 40,000 words for adults or 25,000 words for young adults, and has submitted this work (or a query regarding this work) to a literary agent or a publisher in which the author does not participate financially in the production or distribution of the work. Members published solely by RWA non-recognized publishers qualify for this program as well.
